Keeping the momentum going
It’s been about six weeks since my last Bubble update, and I’m feeling really encouraged about where things are headed.
I got some great feedback from literary manager Andrew Kersey, who said I’d crafted “an impressively professional and organized TV series pitch.” He especially connected with how The Bubble “provides a fresh perspective that avoids tired old-age jokes and tropes.” Hearing him say, “Bingo, that’s so important,” really hit home because that’s exactly what I’ve been trying to do with this series. He also said my character breakdowns were effective and even added, “love Arnie!”
This week I also submitted the pilot to a screenwriting competition. It feels good to keep the momentum going and to see the project continue to evolve. Thanks to everyone who’s been cheering me on. More to come soon.
More updates!!
I had two script requests this week from literary managers. Zero Gravity and Level 4. I also submitted my pitch and synopsis to a pitch fest to get help with writing my script. I also started to outline a new series called The Preserve this week- really exciting!!
Hey Matt how's this going? With Bubble and with now the new The Preserve? Seems like you're on a roll!
