Hadi, a tech enthusiast from India currently based in Dubai, UAE, has a background developing games and 3D content, which ultimately led him to the intense world of startup founding. He describes Heffl not just as a product, but as his "baby," something he thinks about "all the time," emphasizing the profound passion that drives his work.

The Evolution of Heffl: From Field Service to Agencies

Heffl's journey began two years ago by targeting a niche market: field service companies (like cleaning and pest control) in the UAE who were still relying on paper systems and heavy Excel use. The initial platform was successful, acquiring 60+ customers in the region. It was built on a robust platform basis, featuring custom objects, fields, and customizable pipelines, allowing it to easily accommodate different types of users, from accounting firms to marketing agencies.

However, founder insight (bolstered by advice from experienced Y Combinator founders) showed that maintaining focus across too many areas was a major burden and hindered scalability.

This led to the game-changing announcement made right here on the podcast: Heffl is now dedicated to being the "all-in-one tool for agencies". Hadi’s mission is clear: to make agency owners’ lives "10x better" by providing a comprehensive, focused solution.

  3. Project Delivery: Utilizing the customizable Project Management module (where you can even rename "projects" to "work"), you can manage client projects, upload files, and handle client approvals and revisions.

  4. Getting Paid: Once a client approves the work, you can convert that directly to an invoice and create a Stripe payment link right inside Heffl.

This streamlined approach promises to save agency owners "hours of your time and money".

Hadi and his co-founder are bootstrapped, meaning they have opted not to raise external funds at this time. They are focused on building a profitable company and retaining the control necessary to execute their vision correctly from the start. This approach allows them to commit fully to their core philosophy: "ship fast, experiment fast". Their engineering team focuses on developing the most scalable solutions quickly. Hadi is so committed to user success that, for now, he handles most of the demos and training himself, ensuring retention and minimizing churn.
